LUCILE M. WRIGHT AVIATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
This $500 scholarship is offered by the Lucile M. Wright Air Museum to support the educational goals of a
deserving student as s/he pursues a career in an aviation-related field.
To be eligible to apply a student must:
be a senior in a high school in Chautauqua or Cattaraugus County, or be enrolled in the AAS
Professional Piloting degree program at Jamestown Community College or an aviation-related curriculum at an accredited post-secondary institution(Most recent transcript required with application)
have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in both high school and post-secondary study
have completed some type of community service or service with youth
To be eligible to receive the award a student must:
have completed one term/semester of study (at least 12 credit hours) at an accredited post-secondary
institution(Most recent transcript required)
have a minimum GPA of 3.00

involvement, and why you feel you are deserving of this recognition. This essay should be several paragraphs
long. The selection committee places significant emphasis on both the contents of, and the writing skills
exhibited in, the essay.

use of my name as a scholarship recipient in brochures, videos, or other recruitment devices used by the Lucile
M. Wright Air Museum or Jamestown Community College, and do further for myself, my heirs, and
